OUR STORY
The Friends of Madbury Library was formed in 2000 to establish, build, and support a library in the town of Madbury.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supplementing and enhancing library services through fundraising, advocacy, and volunteering.
We help make the Madbury Public Library a place where curiosity, connection, and community grow.

What we make possible. From carpets and bookcases to memorable gatherings, the Friends support the experiences that make the library a welcoming community resource. The services we support include the following:
Summer and vacation reading programs
Museum passes
Equipment and furnishings
Book sales
Hospitality for library events
Nature playground
Art exhibits and speakers
