OverDrive

Downloading is now easier and more intuitive than ever before. You will need a valid Madbury Library card in good standing to use NH Downloadables, also known as OverDrive. 

OverDrive offers thousands of eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines for temporary download, including bestsellers. OverDrive is the first place to look for great eBooks and audiobooks.  How does it work? It’s easy! Go to nh.overdrive.com or download the Libby app. 

Libby

Libby is an app from OverDrive that can be used by any patron with a valid Madbury Library card. The app has a ebook reader and an audiobook player built in, as well as a bookself, and the ability to use more than one library card. Availbe for phones or tablets (Apple, Android, Microsoft, Google).

Hoopla

In addition to ebooks and audiobooks you can also access movies, tv shows, and magazines with Hoopla using you library card! 

Getting started: 

1. Visit www.hoopladigital.com and click the blue "Get Started" button, then click "Let's Go!" in the window that pops up
2. You will need an email address and you library card number. Forgot your card number? Call us at 743-1400 or email library@madburylibrary.org 
3. Seach for Madbury Public Library, then input your 14-digit card number
4. Input your email address and create a password

You now have access to Hoopla Digital! You are allowed up to 5 checkouts per month, with no wait time!

• Books and audiobooks are available for 21 days
• Movies and TV shows are available for 2-3 days (depending on studio)
• Music albums are available for 7 days
• Renewals are allowed, but will count as one of your 5 monthly checkouts
  • NOTE- Downloading an item, even if you don't open it, read it, or watch it, counts as a checkout. Double check that the title you are on is the one you want to borrow to avoid accidental checkouts. 
• For Parents- you can enable KidsMode to restrict the content visible to that suited to children under 12
